Packing Service
Along with Howe Farming Enterprises, we offer Far North Queensland Avocado growers a full packing service. We take a paddock-to-plate approach where our collaboration starts in the field with agronomy and scouting support, dry matter monitoring, packing at a modern facility in Walkamin, ripening and sales to retailers around Australia.
Ripening Service
We have a highly experienced ripening team to ensure our supplier’s product reaches consumers in the best possible way. We are continually travelling the world assessing new ripening technologies, particularly initiatives that are more energy efficient.
Quality Assurance Services
Our team has resources in farming areas and Ripening Centres to assist growers with rapid feedback on product quality. Our internally developed QA System will immediately notify stakeholders of any potential issues – by text and/or email. Our aim is to have Zero Food Loss in the part of the supply we can control – from farm to retailer - by agile use of data and information.
We also have the capability to assist suppliers with their Compliance, including Freshcare, Sedex and Freshcare Environmental.
Industry Support
We are actively involved in various Industry Associations and travel globally to keep abreast of new developments across many agricultural products and practices. Our strong relationships fostered with major retail partners help ensure you receive the best price possible for your produce.
